„As with all our previous visits, the welcome we received at Ty-Liorz was exceptional and I would recommend the gite to any couple wanting to experience Arradon, which has - since we first discovered it many years ago - become a very fashionable location for people from Paris seeking second homes. In may ways that's good for us occasional visitors, because it means the facilities here are very fine for the size of the town, with a very well-stocked SuperU (nb its wine cave) and good restaurants. There are plenty of walks to be had (although they need to mend that path behind the Venettes) and Ty-Liorz is perfectly situated within a few hundred yards of the village and of routes for walking, shopping or eating. You can easily manage days without the car. The gite has everything you need. Originally conceived as a granny annexe for someone who was disabled, it boasts a substantial living room and perfectly adequate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, with options to eat in the kitchen or living room. There's TV and DVD available for dark evenings (we were there in winter). The bed could maybe do with updating but is perfectly adequate. The owners are next door and are available, welcoming, and attentive but never obtrusive. As for trips further afield, Vannes is within 15 minutes, Carnac, La Trinite and all points west about 20 minutes away. If you haven't been to the Morbihan you should go; shimmering with islands it remains a piece of paradise and is everything Devon and Cornwall should be but sadly aren't.“

„We keep coming back to this gite, with good reason. Arradon is a delightful village, well located for Vannes and the nest of the Morbihan, with good shopping and great walking, including to the sea (and onto the sea by ferry). The gite itself is well-equipped for a couple; originally a (disabled friendly) 'granny annexe' to the owner's home, it meets all our needs, with good Internet, a very comfortable living room, and kitchen, bathroom and bedroom facilities. There's little lacking, provided you're happy with a shower rather than a tub. Parking is simple. As noted, you can be in the village with a ten minutes walk, with restaurants there, or at the sea in twenty minutes. The local SuperU (five minutes drive) is one of the best we've ever come across, with a great wine department. There are specialist wine shops and a Spanish grocer with a great wine department the same distance away. This all makes for a great stay and some great eating. But the real reason we come is Madeleine and Andre. We stay in two or three gites a year and have done so for 40 years and they are - without doubt - the most friendly, welcoming and 'sympa' owners and hosts we have encountered in France. I cannot sing their praises enough. Gites de France should use them as a model for all other gite owners.“
