The town was cute & close enough to all the things you'd want to do in Champagne Country. It's a beautiful area & a beautiful home. I would absolutely stay here again.“

„Lovely gite in an old building in a village with everything we wanted. Owners very welcoming and great champagne. Weekly market in village every Tuesday. In the heart of Champagne region. Beautiful scenery in surrounding wine growing fields. Interesting village with trail of historic buildings.“

„What a lovely little gem in the heart of Vertus. Spacious ground floor with an open layout containing living room, a small kitchen and a large dining area. There is a south facing wooden terrace with access from the dining area, located in a private courtyard. A perfect spot in the sun, which is present from 10-19 in summer. The top floor consists of 3 separate bed rooms, all with a private shower. All bedrooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the layouts fit perfectly for up to 6 persons. The city of Vertus has both restaurants, a wine bar, several bakeries, 2 supermarkets and different speciality shops. Of course you can find plenty of wineries in Vertus, and many of them offer tastings. We had a lovely stay.“

„Lovely stay in this beautiful and comfortable house. Very well equiped, large living room with terrace and large patio. Terrace with sun starting at 12 o clock. Dinner in the evening sun. Three bedrooms with good bathrooms. Several bakeries and restaurants closeby aand a small grocery store. It is a 5 minutes walk and you are in the middle of the vineyards. Beautiful walk from Vertus to Oger following the GR. In Oger a fine restaurant which has recently opened. Shorter walks on Mont Aime. Nice day trips to Reims and Epernay. Other nice trips touring around in the national Parc of Reims and walking in Bois de Verzy and the beautiful village of Hautvillers. And after each trip we came home to this lovely house. In conclusion, we had a great stay and we would highly recommend this gite de France.“
