„Schönes Anwesen in ruhiger Lage oberhalb von Lucca. Alles sauber und gut geführt und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nur die Anfahrt ist auf Grund der engen und kurvigen Straße etwas beschwerlich. Wir können diese Anlage uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Beautiful property in a quiet location above Lucca. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and it exceeded our expectations. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. However, the access is a bit difficult due to the narrow and winding road. We can wholeheartedly recommend this property.“

„Wonderful house with great views. The drive up to the very narrow in places, not for large cars. This made going sight seeing and shopping difficult. The house cool because of high ceilings. Small kitchen but well equiped Bedrooms large but we were disappointed with the bed linen. This let the house down Great pool. We were unfortunate with the number of wasps which interfered with outdoor activities.“

„Ein sehr schön gelegenes Anwesen mit großen Räumen im toskanischen Stil. Die großen Rasenflächen wurden täglich am frühen Morgen bewässert. Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub und genossen täglich den Pool mit eingebauter Gegenstromanlage. Der Pool wird 2mal pro Woche gereinigt. Wir hatten die Option die Bäder und die Küche alle 2 Tage reinigen zu lassen. Für einen Abend haben wir den uns empfohlenen Koch bestellt. Dieser servierte uns (10 Personen) ein hervorragendes toskanisches Menue, welches in der hauseigenen Küche vorbereitet wurde. Auch der Besuch eines Weinbaubetriebes mit Verkostung von 8 verschiedenen Weinen war ein schönes Erlebnis. Gerne empfehlen wir die Villa Montefiore weiter. A very nicely located property with large rooms in the Tuscan style. The large lawns were watered early in the morning every day. We had a very relaxing holiday and enjoyed the pool with built-in counter current every day. The pool is cleaned twice a week. We had the option to have the bathrooms and kitchen cleaned every 2 days. For one evening we ordered the cook recommended to us. He served us (10 people) an excellent Tuscan menu, which was prepared in the in-house kitchen. A visit to a winery with tasting of 8 different wines was a wonderful experience. We are happy to recommend Villa Montefiore.“

„We've just spent a fabulous two weeks at this beautiful villa. We were a family party of 8 adults, 2 children and an infant and there was plenty of room for us all in this spacious accommodation. It was very well equipped with everything you could wish for - from culinary utensils & crockery to bathroom accessories and towels. Stefano came to clean the pool twice a week, the bedrooms & bathrooms were cleaned once a week and our deposit was reimbursed without any problems. The only slight downside was it is a very narrow approach road just before you reach the villa, so a very large vehicle is definitely not advisable. The pizza oven was used very successfully, although it was very hot! The lovely clean pool is an absolute delight in the hot 'weather of August, our 7 year old grandson was quite happy to swim in it all day! Just a shame there wasn't a village nearby although its not far into Lucca itself. Would definitely recommend this villa - wish we were still there!“
