Nous avons passé 3 nuits à DINAN. C'est une très belle ville - du port de plaisance au centre historique. Mais c'est aussi et seulement à 25 mns de DINARD, 35 de St MALO et 45 du MONT St MICHE. Excellente adresse.“

„A lovely apartment in the centre of Medieval Dinan, but the road wasn't too busy and building set back a little so it still felt private. A 3-minute walk to an excellent boulangerie for breakfast, a butcher even closer, souvenirs, clothes etc within 2-5 minutes from the door. Being so central, I was able to take photos of Dinan's most popular locations before the crowds arrived. We even watched the parade marking the 80th anniversary of Dinan's liberation from the lounge! (The window is actually bigger than I had realised from the description.) There is space outside the building for unloading and loading the car, with parking a very few minutes' walk away. The lounge diner area is small, but feels more spacious because the ceiling is double height (and this allows a really big window to enjoy the view). The mezzanine upstairs gave our children plenty of personal space, with their own sofa. There was a filter coffee machine provided but we used our travel cafetiere because we prefer that to filter coffee. Everything in the kitchen worked well (the oven looked brand new). (Only tiny niggles were that with the living area being small, thre wasn't sofa/armchair space for 2 adults & 2 teens, and a tall person can bump their head at one end of the dining table, but it wasn't a problem.) The apartment was perfect for us, but the owners were a bonus - a lovely and very helpful couple. Communication was excellent, the owner met us at the apartment and showed us around, and it really felt that he wanted us to have the best possible time in Dinan. We stayed for 7 nights. I recommend this apartment for families with up to 2 children (although very young children might need a stairgate, our teens were happy), who want to be within walking distance of facilities and the best of Dinan, while also quite quiet and private (main noise being occasional church bells). It is also perfectly placed to reach a lot of Northern and Central Brittany.“
