„My wife and I spent over two weeks in this gite at the end of August into the beginning of September 2025. This is the 8th year that we have been here! Valerie and Franke always welcome us and make our holidays easy and enjoyable - we have become good friends. They live in a nearby house and are there to help with any needs. The also have two chambres d'hote which are furnished to high standards. The gite is on the edge of a small village and there are many small vine yards in the surrounding attractive countryside. There is also a wine maker a short distance away. The small restaurant in the village serves good simple French food at reasonable prices. I can highly recommend this gite for a good quiet holiday.“

„Nous venions pour la 1ère fois découvrir le Beaujolais. Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Valérie et Franck NONNY. La maison est très agréable, très pratique, joliment décorée et offre une vue sur les monts alentour magnifique. L'endroit est très calme et très ressourçant. Nous étions bien situés pour visiter tous les petits villages de vignerons du Beaujolais. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette semaine et espérons revenir.“

„We were at l'Escale in the Beaujolais region for 11 days and can fully recommend it to others. The gite is very well equipped. Everything you can think of is there. The mattress is great as is the bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, micro-wave and dishwasher. We also enjoyed the swimming pool!The hosts, Valerie and Franck, are very nice people who made us feel very welcome.“

„It was our first time in the Beaujolais and the first stay at L'Escale. The House had everything we needed. After a long hot day on our Roadbikes it was perfect to use the Swimmingpool to get cooled. We loved the quiet surroundings and the view to the green Hills. „Over a period of 7 years my wife and I have stayed in this gite for a total of 126 nights for 18 weeks!Each time we have travelled by car from Norfolk stopping en route near Epernay. The owners of the gite, Franck and Valerie live close by and are excellent hosts who provide a friendly welcome and are always ready to help without being intrusive. There are many vineyards nearby and the local wine maker lives close by. The view across the valley from the terrace is stunning and sitting out in the evening is superb. We hope to stay in this gite yet again next year!“
