„This is our fourth stay in Kardileur. We keep returning because the owners are so very kind - we have met people staying in their B&B accommodation who say the same. They are assiduous in ensuring that their visitors have the best possible stay in the region. The kitchen is well equipped with a very modern oven, microwave and fridge-freezer plus an excellent washing machine and separate dryer. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower with deliciously hot water and when needed central heating is provided. There is also provision for a wood burner fire. A lovely terrace has ample outside seating under a cover for eating outside and there are numerous species of birds active in the garden (which visitors can use) and in the trees all around. The beds are comfy and the air so clear. The beautiful towns of Chateaulin and Quimper are within easy driving distance and the local village, Quilinen, has a wonderful chapel with beautifully restored frescoes - open the third Sunday of each month. We love walking at le Stangala, under 10 minutes away by car, where the Odet flows through a gorge and walks of different ease and steepness are available. There are so many beautiful places to visit in western Brittany - natural and historical - and we are glad to return each evening to a place which has come to feel like home.“

Wifi et télé pas toujours disponibles selon l’humeur du réseau !Séjour très agréable nous recommandons même si le prix est un peu élevé“

„Ce gite est à recommander. Les propriétaires sont très accueillant. Le gite est propre et dispose de l'essentiel. Le seul bémol est le Wi-Fi qui n'est pas sécurisé et relativement faible.“

„This is the third time we have stayed in Kardileur and the first for five years since covid as we have been unable to travel back to France until now. The owners are absolutely delightful and extremely helpful. We love the outside table on the veranda, the garden, the plentiful storage and this year, the central heating, as we visited at the end of September when the weather suddenly went chilly. A new walk-in shower has been installed since our last visit. There are numerous lovely walks in the area and the beaches near Benodet are reached via the Quimper ring road. The beautiful Crozon peninsula is in easy reach and the local chapel in Quilinen has some magnificent old frescoes. We will certainly be hoping to go back next year.“

„L' ensemble de la propriété est splendide et soigneusement entretenu, les jardins à l' anglaise sont joliment fleuris. L' accueil de M. et Mme Bothorel est particulièrement chaleureux et aimable (gâteaux,, cidre, tomates fraîches du potager...), tous les deux portent un grand amour pour leur région et le font bien partager. C' est un plaisir de s' entretenir avec eux. Par ailleurs la maison est bien située pour des promenades et visites inépuisables et très diversifiées. Notre séjour nous laisse un très bon souvenir.“
