„Met oud en nieuw hebben wij een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad in dit zeer royale en comfortabele huis. De eigenaren zijn uitermate vriendelijk en het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. In de maand december was de houtkachel zeer prettig en er was dan ook genoeg hout voorradig, dit was heel erg aangenaam. Denk ook aan de kleine details zoals kruiden en olijfolie/azijn in de keuken wat erg gemakkelijk is. 2 royale badkamers en 3 ruime slaapkamers aanwezig. De omgeving was in de maand december erg rustig maar alle champagne huizen zijn gewoon open en je kunt erg mooi wandelen in de omgeving. Kortom: Super huis en prettige omgeving!“

„Gîte magnifique, une très belle rénovation originale. Equipement complet, il ne manque rien. Et s'il vous manque quelque chose, le propriétaire reste à l'écoute. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique Et cerise sur le gâteau, nous a du propriétaire. Village paradisiaque qui donne l'impression que chaque habitant est producteur de champagne. Il y en a à tous les coins de rue !Prestation au top ! Et cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons même eu de la neige la nuit de Noël. MAGIQUE !Vous l'aurez compris, je recommande vivement:-)“

„The gite is wonderful - spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. I couldn’t fault it. Les Riceys is very quiet and the only bar (Tabac) we could find was at the village main route in next to the Spar, which made for a lovely walk through the village's Marie grounds for a quick beer with the grape pickers. Leave the gite and go up the hill and you can walk for many miles through the vineyards. If you want a week or two in peace and quiet, this is a wonderful choice!“

„We had an excellent stay here. The kitchen is well-supplied and all equipment is high specification. Bedding and towels are good quality and the beds were already made-up which was a very welcome feature after our long drive from Lot et Garonne. The village is charming with very narrow roads so the enclosed parking is a huge bonus. The gîte is well positioned for exploring Burgundy. The only drawback was not having a shop/bakery within walking distance.“

It's an excellent base for exploring the region; for British visitors it is an easy 4 hour drive down from Calais. We received a warm and hospitable welcome from our host, Sébastien. The gîte itself is a beautifully restored stone house, boasting a blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. The gîte is spacious, very well-equipped with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, the interior is tastefully decorated and all of the facilities were spotlessly clean. Highly recommended by us without hesitation and, we sincerely hope to visit again at some point in the future.“
