„This Castello is a fabulous experience due to the history and the setting of the Castello. The Staff is really helpful and accommodating. You are 5 minutes away from wonderful restaurants, markets and on the Strada di Chianti. The accommodations are beautiful but not excellent because the kitchens are sparsely outfitted, no microwave, no toaster, only a coffee maker, two burner gas cooktop and a small refrigerator. It is hard to feed a family for a week out of the kitchens. There is no air conditioning in any of the rooms, nor screens on the windows. As long as you are prepared for this you will have a wonderful time at the Castello Montegufoni.“

„We loved this place. It’s not a hotel, so don’t have those expectations. It’s like renting an apartment. The La Grotta apartment was awesome, the frescos painted on the ceiling in every room were something you could look at the whole stay and there were beautiful views of the country side out the windows. The property grounds were fantastic as well, with tons of flowers and plants all around and in the gardens. Definitely made our trip an amazing experience staying here.“
