„Nous avons apprécié les améliorations suite à nos séjours précédents (rénovation de la douche, canapé neuf), cependant le gros point noir est encore la literie de la chambre parentale... Matelas très mince et lattes usagées. Le frigo également ne fonctionne pas très bien, il faut le mettre à fond pour obtenir une température correcte, ce qui n'est pas très écologique et économique ! Mis à part cela l'endroit est idéal pour profiter de la région, calme et proche des commerces, lac d'Arjuzanx, et plages.“

„The gîte has basic facilities. However many things were below standard. The terrace, which is the outdoor space for sitting and also eating, was filthy and overgrown with weeds; there was even an old sock lying there; the terrace furniture was also filthy. I spent the first hour sweeping, lifting weeds, and using bleach to clean the layer of dirt off the table and two of the chairs. Meanwhile my travelling companion was cleaning the dirt out of the bottom of the wardrobes and cupboards so that we could unload and unpack our stuff. We paid a supplement for the gîte to be cleaned when we left; the least we could expect was that it would be clean when we arrived. There was a switch in the kitchen which supposedly activated the extractor fan in the shower room and separate WC. It did not seem to be working, which is a real health and safety concern, as both of these rooms are in the centre of the gîte and neither has a window or any other means of airing them out. The WIFI is hit and miss, despite the booster plugged into the socket in the kitchen area. This had a card attached telling guests not to remove it. Unfortunately that meant that you could not make toast and coffee at the same time for breakfast, as there was only one other socket in the kitchen; so you had to choose whether to have cold toast with hot coffee, or vice versa... After it rained there was a leak from the roof onto the terrace, making it difficult to sit out there once the rain had stopped. The overall impression is of a basic gîte that could be nice to stay in if more attention was paid to cleanliness, preparation in advance of the arrival of paying guests, and some serious attention to upkeep and renovation.“
