„The tone was set for our stay when the owner of the gite 'phoned me in the UK several weeks in advance of our stay to discuss options for our arrival; we've stayed in 100 gites in our forty odd years of travelling to France and this was both unusual and very welcome. As was the flexibility of arrival time. The warmth of the greeting was repeated when we met the owner on our arrival. She instantly made us feel as if we had chosen the right accommodation and this impression was repeated as we saw round the gite and appreciated the quality of the furnishings and how much had been purchased specifically for guests, as opposed to passed on from raids on second-hand shops. The tv, for example, is the best we've had in all those 100 gites and provide plenty of access to UK channels and sites such as Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube. Upstairs was perhaps less well equipped than downstairs, with a paucity of clothes hangers and a shower that was less good than some we've enjoyed but still perfectly adequate. Kitchen eqipment was good and enabled up to prepare full meals. Parking is very secure, behind a lockable steel gate. Access, be warned, requires you to ignore your sat nav, which will take you down a one way street. It's easy though when you know how! Neighbours were very friendly. Access to the town (a lovely port with good bars and restaurants and shops of all descriptions plus good walking) is simple: A fifteen minute walk. The local Carrefour hypermsrket is five minutes walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which passed far too quickly and we will almost certainly return. Oh, one final comment: Take a good handbag for the large bunch of keys!“

„We had a delightful stay at this charming property. The owner, Mme Gillot, could not have been more helpful, from sending a link in advance to a local tourism site, calling us the week before to ensure that we had all the information we needed, and providing a really useful welcome on arrival. The property is well-equipped and comfortable. The garden is a haven for many birds and a treat to sit out late into the evening. We made full use of the local markets to cook most days, and a large supermarket is within walking distance. Paimpol harbour with its bars and restaurants is at most a 15 minute stroll. The gite itself is on a quiet back-lane. This is a really interesting part of Brittany and we would have no hesitation in staying at Enez Roch again.“

„Sehr geschmackvoll renoviertes Haus, sehr ruhig gelegen und doch nur 5 Minuten bis zum Hafen und allen Restaurants. Schön eingerichtet, gute Betten, großer Kühlschrank, Küche gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefiel uns der Wintergarten, bei dem sich ein Fenster komplett weg schieben lässt, so dass wir auch bei kühlerem oder feuchterem Wetter fast draußen sitzen konnten. Der angrenzende Elektromarkt stört überhaupt nicht, da es die Rückseite des Marktes ist. Wir waren eine Woche dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.“

„Magnifique séjour dans ce gîte à Paimpol. Accueil parfait, nous avons très grandement apprécié les échanges avec les propriétaires, leurs conseils de visites, ainsi leur charmante maison. De plus, nous avions tout à disposition dans la cuisine, et les crêpes et le cidre d'accueil vous attendent à l'arrivée ce qui fait très plaisir. Tout est neuf et ultra propre, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Nous recommandons fortement ce gîte calme qui est proche de tout même à pieds.“
