„This is a great place to stay if you, like us, love Brittany. It's a short drive to St. Malo old town and the port area, and there are lots of pretty little villages to visit - we were never short of somewhere to visit or hike from. This was our second stay and, whilst the property has its shortcomings, it's very comfortable and quiet. Safe parking too. Not many nearby shops, although there is a bakery and a restaurant withing walking distance (we didn't try either), but the wonderful Farmers Market shop of St. Malo is a very short drive away.“

„Gîte très agréable, lumineux, décoré avec goût. Le jardin clos, sans vis-à-vis, et aucune ouverture sur la rue, est appréciable. Le parking, dans un espace sécurisé est rassurant. La seule chose que nous avons apprécié moyennement, c'est le service conciergerie (accueil et état des lieux rapides par le gérant, état des lieux à la sortie par la personne qui devait faire le ménage). 15 jours avant de venir, il fallait leur donner notre heure d'arrivée et notre heure de départ de fin de séjour.“

„Très bon séjour en périphérie de Saint-Malo dans une résidence moderne et tranquille (tout comme l'appartement, très bien géré).Région magnifique avec tant de sites à visiter alentour. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'un temps ensoleillé quasiment toute la semaine ce qui influence peut-être notre jugement.“

„Beau logement aménagé avec goût ! Literie au top ! Parking sécurisé dans co-propriété. Absolument rien ne manque ! De plus la propriétaire a décoré l'endroit avec de jolies photos prises par elle-même ! Juste dommage que l'anticyclône normalement prévu s'est traduit par des brouillards et nuages bas toute la semaine ! La faute à pas de chance...“

„We really enjoyed our stay at Sioul Malo, it was spotlessly clean on arrival. However, our welcome wasn't great, the manager seemed more concerned about what time we should arrive and what time we could leave at the end of the week. We did have a few other niggles.... the position of some of the appliances were quite dangerous, not least the microwave, for which you had to reach up to to take out hot dishes, and the door was just at head level and I bumped my head several times. The wifi connection was difficult - we had to pick up the router to find the code, turn it upside down to find the code and, in doing so, one of the wires dislodged and it was 24 hours before we could use it again! (the manager could have told us this himself, or it should have been included in the file of gite instructions. There were also very poor provision of sharp kitchen knives, we could only find one, and that was blunt! The cheese grater was minute, so could do with a larger one, and there was poor provision of oven proof baking dishes, so we had to go out and purchase one from a supermarket. The barbecue is electric and there was nowhere to plug it in, other than inside the garage, which I am sure you wouldn't have thanked us for! No wardrobe space at all in the rear bedroom. But the beds were very comfortable and we loved the towels and bedlinen! Because all the doors to the rooms were very wide, we assumed that this is a property designed for people with disabilities, so we were surprised that the microwave was in such a unfriendly position and the oven was poorly situated for disabled people! But apart from the above, we had a great stay, it was very well located for trips into St. Malo and some other lovely places no more than 30 minutes' drive away. We would definitely love to stay here again, but would bring some sharp knives with us!“
