Bien situé, au cœur du village, ce gîte permet de profiter de la région et de la forêt toute proche. A recommander!“

„Beautiful place, spacious and clean with all the amenities. The owners are friendly, super welcoming and very helpful. The place is situated about 20 minutes away from the sea and 30-40 minutes from Rouen. Our family truly enjoyed our stay in this gîte. Highly recommended!“

„Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires du gîte, qui sont à la fois très à l'écoute et discrets. Le cadre du gîte possède beaucoup de cachet et le logement est parfaitement propre et fonctionnel, avec toutes les commodités pour notre enfant de 16 mois. Sa localisation au cœur du village et à proximité immédiate de plusieurs commerces est également un atout. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour et n'hésiterons pas à revenir au Héron !“

„We stayed for a week as a family of three and The Heron was a perfect base to explore Normandy from. The gîte is spacious and well equipped with plenty of space both upstairs and down. The second bedroom is perfect for young children. We had free use of the beautiful gardens which are shared between the gîte and the main house. The hosts were very welcoming despite us not speaking any French! And very patient with us. Parking is spacious and secure inside the grounds of the property. The property is located down a very pretty street with streams on both sides, just minutes walk from the town centre and bakery, butchers, supermarket and playground etc. For visitors not used to renting gîtes in France (as we were not) be aware that a cash deposit is required on arrival in case of damages, and payment for electricity usage at the end. Overall it was a very relaxed, enjoyable stay. Thank you.“

„Magnifique séjour pendant ce long WE ensoleillé dans ce gîte confortable tenu par des propriétaires très accueillants et discrets. La maison est très belle et dispose d'un grand jardin qui a fait le bonheur des enfants. Il ne manquait rien. Le gîte est proche à pied des commerces, du centre ville, une petite rivière coule à proximité et rend le chemin très agréable. Aux alentours plusieurs activités à faire (très belle forêt à quelques km en voiture, à 30 km environ la plage de Dieppe et son centre ville,..) .Saint-Saens est une petite ville très agréable. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse.“

„My husband and I spent a week at Le Heron in the lovely village of St. Saens. The owners are very kind and discreet. They encourage one to contact them if there is a problem or anything is needed. The gite is very well furnished with everything one needs. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is excellent and the kitchen is well equipped and has the best cutlery we have ever used in a gite! The only thing that was missing during our stay was warm sunshine but clearly that is just a matter of luck. We would most definitely return.“
