Die für maximal 2 Personen ausgelegte Casa Polpo wurde von der Familie Cunto, denen auch die Ferienwohnungen Casa Granchio und Casa Riccio gehören, komplett renoviert und neu eingerichtet.
Man betritt die hübsche Ferienwohnung über die Wohnküche mit farblich akzentuierter Küchenzeile. Daneben befinden sich das Bad und das Schlafzimmer mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer. Auffallend sind die liebevollen Details, wie die Beleuchtung im Schlafzimmer, die an das Leben am Meer erinnern.
Von der Wohnküche gelangen Sie auf die möblierte Meerblickterrasse. Von dieser haben Sie die Punta Tresino im Blick, die die Gemeinden Castellabate und Agropoli trennt.
PARKEN: Sie können einen reservierten Parkplatz ca. 150 m von der Unterkunft in Anspruch nehmen (gegen Gebühr; bitte vor Reiseantritt angeben) oder die öffentlichen Parkplätze (gegen Gebühr) direkt bei der Ferienwohnung nutzen.
AKTIVURLAUB IM CILENTO
Einheimische Gäste besuchen San Marco di Castellabate in erster Linie wegen des Meeres und der schönen Sandstrände zwischen der Punta Tresino und der Punta Licosa. Auch das nur ca. 50 m von der Casa Polpo entfernt liegende Thalasso Spa zieht viele Besucher an.
Die Gegend rund um Castellabate eignet sich auch hervorragend für einen Aktivurlaub – sei es Wandern, Radfahren, Tauchen oder Schnorcheln.
Leichte Wanderungen führen direkt am Meer entlang. An einem Sonntagvormittag kann man z.B. durch den Pinienwald der Punta Licosa in das benachbarte Ogliastro Marino wandern. Dort kehrt man in das Hotel-Ristorante Da Carmine zum Mittagessen ein und am frühen Nachmittag geht es zurück nach San Marco.
Einen Fahrrad- und Bootsverleih findet man im benachbarten Santa Maria di Castellabate bei Antares '91. Auf eine schönere Art kann man die Sireneninsel der Punta Licosa kaum entdecken.
Und noch etwas gibt es im nördlichen Cilento zu entdecken: unglaublich gutes Essen! Das gilt nicht nur für die örtlichen Lokale quasi direkt vor der Haustür, sondern ebenso für kleine Familienunternehmen, die sich auf die Produktion traditioneller lokaler Produkte spezialisiert haben. Dazu zählen Käsereien zwischen Giungano und Roccadaspide, die Büffelfarmen rund um Paestum, Weingüter rund um Agropoli, die Fischmanufaktur von Marianna Coppola, die inzwischen in Pisciotta ihre Alici di Menaica herstellt, und noch viele mehr. Framed by marine reserve Punta Licosa and UNESCO World Heritage listed Castellabate, it is a place where you can completely unwind, especially in early and late summer.
MODERN FURNISHING & CAPTIVATING SEA VIEW
Family Cunto's Casa Polpo is a lovely, thoroughly renovated and refurnished holiday apartment. The family also owns holiday apartments Casa Granchio and Casa Riccio.
You enter Casa Polpo into the live-and-eat-in kitchen, which lets you into the bathroom (shower/WC/bidet) and into the bedroom (double bed) and opens onto the furnished sea view terrace. Lovingly chosen details adorn the apartment: Some catch your eye immediately, like the colorful wall tiles highlighting the kitchen unit; some are linked with life by the sea, for example the bedroom lighting.
From the bedroom, you have got a wonderful view of the sea; from the sea view terrace, you can see Punta Tresino, which separates the comunes of Castallabate and Agropoli, jutting out into the sea.
The apartment also features TV, WiFi, washing machine and air conditioning (extra charge).
PARKING: A reserved parking space ca. 150 m from the accommodation is available for an extra charge (Please specify before your journey!). There are also chargeable, public parking spaces directly at the accommodation.
ACTIVITY HOLIDAYS IN THE CILENTO
San Marco di Castallabate is popular with Italian guests above all for its sea and the beautiful beaches between Punta Tresino and Punta Licosa. Thalasso Spa only 50 m from Casa Polpo attracts many visitors, too.
Hiking, cycling, diving, snorkeling and more – The area around Castellabate is also great for activity holidays. Easy hiking tours take you right along the seaside. On a Sunday morning, you might hike through the pine woods of Punta Licosa to neighboring Ogliastro Marina, where you stop for lunch at Hotel Ristorante Da Carmine, then return to San Marco in the early afternoon.
Stop by Antares '91 at neighboring Santa Maria di Castellabate to rent a bike or a boat. There is no nicer way of discovering and exploring the 'Siren's island' of Punta Licosa.
What else there is to discover in the northern Cilento: unbelievably good food! That does not only go for the local restaurants, so-to-speak in front of your door, but also for small family enterprises specializing in traditional, local products. They include cheese dairies between Giungano and Roccadaspide, the buffalo farms around Paestum, vineyards around Agropoli, the fish business of Marianna Coppola, who meanwhile produces her "Alici di Menaica" at Pisciotta, and many more.
