The cottage is very centrally located, making both the sea and the mountains easily accessible. The village of Ceret and the city of Perpignan are also worth visiting. In addition to the markets, there is also a strong focus on art and culture. The people there are very friendly and helpful, even when the French language was sometimes a bit difficult for us.
