„Nous avons été très heureux dans ce gîte, ce fût de vraie vacances. L'accueil fut très agréable, prévenant et sympathique. L'adresse est calme et bucolique, Dans cette maison ancienne très bien équipée et décorée avec goût reigne une atmosphère apaisante qui favorise l'entente et la bonne humeur. A l'extérieur, ce jolie coin de nature propose de nombreuses promenades en toute tranquillité même si le centre du village n'est qu'à 5 min en voiture et presente tous les commerces nécessaires. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Encore merci á cette famille de nous avoir donné l'occasion de passer de si bons moments. A bientôt.“

„Top house with a great atmosphere. this house has a soul and we felt very much at home. Very friendly and involved owner who also helped with carrying. Perhaps less recommended for 75 plus. We just managed it for 1 week (we are 79) but you have to be able-bodied.“

„We really enjoyed this accommodation. It is very welcoming and in a beautiful surrounding. The weather was hot but the area on the hills allowed a cooler feel. The host looked after us very well. Valentin was always available via email and offered us gifts of local produce. The house is full of little details that make it a pleasure to stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only issue was that the travel time into Lyon was longer than expected due to the hills and country roads. Otherwise 10 out of 10.“

„From the moment we laid eyes on Le Pre au Ruy we were thrilled. Upon entry it was obvious that we had found something truly special; generations of artists have transformed this 17th century farm into a unique get-away, filled with comfortable furnishings and fascinating treasures. Unexpected was the forced hot water central heat. The kitchen is probably as well equipped as anywhere we have stayed. Appreciated was the serene location, silence, and dark nights that we seldom experience in our light-polluted world. The night sky is overwhelming. The only sound at night was the call of an owl. We both highly recommend a stay at Le Pre au Ruy as a wonderfull rural escape.“

„The host was kind and generous with a basic attitude of trust. We enjoyed the warm welcome and were given total privacy in a quiet place where we could unwind and explore the hilly surroundings. The antique furniture and the excellent paintings on the walls made for a special atmosphere of good taste and style. Definitely on our list of places to come back to!“

„It was very hard to get in touch with the owner and we only had the name of the contact person in the afternoon preceding our arrival after a lot of insistance. The people appointed to welcome us were however very kind and helpful as we had several issues to be cleared: A blind in the sitting room which was stuck halfway, no working internet connection (this was mandatory as one of us had to telework) and a failing heating system (it was still cold). As an overall remark, the house was dusty and kitchen crockery was really old and damaged (none of the 10 dinner plates was without chips, very few cups,...).“
